Hi, I’m Michelle!

I am the founder of Beloved Doula Services, a ProDoula Certified Labor Doula and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula serving the Mother Lode region. I am also Spinning Babies certified. Beloved Doula Services is dedicated to offering unbiased, evidence-based support tailored to you—your wishes, needs, and family choices. You are fully capable of making informed decisions, and I am here to follow your lead or guide you as needed. All information I provide is grounded in credible, scientific evidence, not personal opinion.

I have a passion for supporting families during this monumental time. Prenatally, birth, and postpartum. My mom was a midwife, labor and delivery nurse, and taught childbirth education in our home so it has been a part of my blood forever. After having my first child, I knew that I wanted to help support and educate others as they brought new life into the world, and have been so blessed to support over 120 families.

Beloved Doula Services supports families throughout Tuolumne, Calaveras, Merced, Stanislaus, and Mariposa Counties. I am prepared to assist with every birth type: midwife assisted home births, birth center births, unmedicated hospital births, planned epidural births, and planned cesarean deliveries.

In addition, I am a co-founder of the Sierra Doula Collective, a group of doulas, all with our own businesses who refer to one another, use each other as backups for births, and support the community with support groups and community resources.

As your Doula I will always support you, no matter your choice or if that choice changes. Through our journey together I want nothing more to not only advocate for you, but to help you to feel informed, educated, and empowered enough to advocate for yourself too.

We were lucky to have Michelle as our birth and postpartum doula in 2024! As a first time mom opting for an out of hospital birth, I had lots of concerns and questions. Michelle is a great listener and helped me talk through my worries. She is so knowledgeable and experienced. I trusted her completely. She helped us deliver our healthy baby girl and supported us in postpartum. She taught me how to rock, shush, bounce, hold, diaper, and swaddle my baby when I was recovering from birth, in a way that made me feel empowered and strong. It was such a beautiful experience to have Michelle as another loving figure in our daughter’s first few months of life. We cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Michelle.
