Birth is sacred. It's universal that women want to share, re-live, laugh,and cry their birth stories. Having another woman to support, encourage, and trust through your journey of labor and birth is highly benificial and natural.

As a birth doula I am honored to provide physical, emotional, and informative support to women and their families during the labor and birth experience.

Although "birth doula" is considered a new profession, it is really a new name for an ancient job. Prior to the last century or so, women were often supported by other women during birth. It was the way of life.
