I have been working as a Doula for the last two years and am a certified birth doula through DONA (Doulas of North America).

Personally

From the time my baby sister was born (I was 11) birth has enthralled me. I wasn't allowed in the room during her birth and it created a sense of mystery and privelege.

When I became pregnant with my first child I walked into the unknown world of childbirth. My careprovider gently educated me about birth. With her support and faith in my ability to birth my child gently and naturally I was able to experience an empowering birth.

Unfortunately many women are never shown, supported, believed in, and educated about the choices in childbirth. This realization has lead me to become a Birth Doula so that I can pass on the gift that I had been given.Whether a woman desires an epidural or a natural home birth, my goal is that she is supported and empowered during her birth journey.

In addition to birth I love to paint, read, dance, and be home with my family!
